Sony’s new PlayStation TV is a pretty neat little device. It’s both a gaming console and remote PlayStation 4 player. While the PlayStation TV can download PSP and Vita games and play them locally off the console, you can also connect to your PlayStation 4 over a network connection and play your favourite PS4 titles. The remote play feature is pretty handy if you live in a house with 2 television sets and you’re the one to get regulated to the basement if the main tv (connected to a PS4) is occupied. For the most part, the PlayStation TV comes with everything you need to get started, especially if you already own a PS4, however, if you want to game locally off the PlayStation TV you require a memory card to save your downloads and game saves. I’ve recorded a video of my unboxing, enjoy. Sony PlayStation TV Unboxing YouTube video:
