Install Kodi 17 on Amazon's FireTV

Here’s a guide on installing the latest version of Kodi 17 on Amazon’s FireTV. This guide comes with a video on how I updated my FireTV to the latest version of Kodi. You’ll need to download the Kodi APK and a copy of adbLink. adbLink is the software that connects to the FireTV and installs as well as removed app from the device; Handy and easy to use! When you’ll watch the video, you’ll see how to setup adbLink, you’ll need to create a new Connection then click on Connect to connect to the device. You’ll also see how to uninstall the older version of Kodi then install the latest version. Products from Amazon.com

iOS Flash Drive

If you own an iOS device, you’ll probably enjoy this find. While searching Amazon, I found a neat device to store extra photos and videos with an iOS Flash Drive ! While I’m sure there are plenty of Android versions of compact flash drives , this iOS flash drive is designed for iPhone and iPad owners . Since iOS devices don’t let you use microSD cards for extra storage, this could come in handy for offloading your phone’s vacation photos if you’re running low on space, or storing extra movies and TV shows for long flights. We’ve seen deals on a few similar products in the past, but $30 for 32GB is the best price we’ve seen.

Even though we operate in a world dominated by wifi, an ethernet adapter is something that is a MUST HAVE media playing device. Lucky, Google and Asus have made it easy for us to add an ethernet adapter to Google’s Nexus Player. So the title of this article suggests, I will tell you how to add an ethernet port to Google’s Nexus Player. Let me introduce you to Plugable’s USB 2.0 OTG Micro-B Ethernet Adapter . This great adapter is a must have for those who NEED to be hard wired into the home network due to weak wifi signal strength. I can confirm as an owner of Plugable’s USB 2.0 OTG Micro-B Ethernet Adapter that this adapter DOES INDEED WORK and it works VERY WELL! My media speeds across my network and the internet have obviously improved for the better. My review on this adapter is coming shortly and will be posted on this article from my ...

OTA Buyers Guide

My over the air setup is very basic and anyone can get involved and start receiving FREE HDTV in their homes. What I have done is write this ota buyers guide based on my ota setup which is currently up and running. When I first began receiving over the air TV, my setup was the following (October 2006): Channel Master 4 Bay Antenna –  http://amzn.to/1XWD4if  *I no longer use Channel Master 2 Way Splitter/Amplifier –  http://amzn.to/1WIAzgT I had my antenna hanging in the attic and had it fed into a amplified splitter. Not sure if my setup was correct but it worked. I placed the amplifier near the antenna so the signal was strong as if traveled to my TV. Think back, I should have added a pre-amplifier…which are supposed to be installed at the antenna. Oh well…live and learn, but it worked. In 2012 we moved into our new house which was a 5 minute drive SOUTH of where we lived. After living in the new place for 3 years, I’ve finally got off my ass and installed...
